Pets

Pets are various creatures that help your character in battle, they can use itens and special abilities.

General Information

Pets are various creatures that help your character in battle, they can use itens and special abilities.

  • There are 7 types of Pets: Wolf, Buffalo, Tiger, Kookaburra, Dragon, Hawk and Fox, each with their own unique abilities.
  • The Pet Fox can be obtained with a certain probability by successfully combining (Compounding) two 'Sealed Pet Necklace'. If the combination fails, one of the Pet Necklaces will be lost.
  • In the pet management window, you can find the pet's statistics, skills, equipment and satiety meter.
  • Pets get XP while hunting with their owner, and then, at a certain level, they can evolve.
  • Pets can be summoned in hunting zones, but also in special places such as the Olympics and instance zones.
  • Pets, unlike Summons, need to be fed, because if a pet is hungry, it won't be controlled by the character.
  • To get a Necklace to summon Pets, you must defeat the boss Atingo and then his pet.
  • Atingo appears randomly in the following hunting grounds: Plains of the Lizardmen, Dragon Valley and Orc Barracks.
    • Atingo summons one of his pets to help him, you must kill Atingo before the pet.
    • The character receives a 'Sealed Necklace' as a reward, depending on the type of pet Atingo has summoned.
    • As well as a pet, Atingo can also summon a Sin Eater, which doesn't drop any of the Necklaces for summoning pets.
Pet Summoned by Atingo Item dropped on death
Kookaburra Sealed Kookaburra's Necklace
Tiger Sealed Tiger's Necklace
Wolf Sealed Wolf's Necklace
Buffalo Sealed Buffalo's Necklace
Hawk Sealed Hawk's Necklace

Summoning a pet

  • The pet can be summoned by double-clicking on its Necklace
    • Only one pet can be summoned at a time.
    • In zGaming, pets can be summoned during combat mode.
    • In zGaming, Pet Necklaces can be activated in the skills bar (like a toggle) to automatically summon the pet if it dies during combat.
  • When a pet dies, it doesn't lose XP, but the owner receives a debuff that increases the pet's Satiety penalty percentage.
  • When a pet that has died is summoned again, its HP and MP are replenished.

Upgrading a pet

  • Pets don't earn XP passively. Pets earn XP by killing monsters together with their owner. The more damage the pet does, the more XP it receives.
  • Pets need to be fed: when a pet is summoned, its Satiety meter gradually depletes and, during combat, it depletes even faster.
    • If the pet is less than 50% full, penalties will be applied.
    • The pet cannot be invoked if its satiety is less than 1%.
    • If the pet's satiety reaches 0, it stops fighting.
    • Pet satiety can be restored by using  Pet Food (can be activated in the skills bar).
  • Buffs used by the owner are shared with the pet.
    • Class-specific buffs do not apply to the pet.
    • Buffs and XP-boosting scrolls used by the owner apply to the pet.
  • The 'Sayha's Blessing' effect is also applied to the pet.
    • If the pet owner's 'Sayha's Blessing' is deactivated, the pet will also receive a penalty for this.

Evolution of pets

All pets can evolve. Their initial Evolution level is 0 (1 star in the pet management window) and they can evolve twice more:

Pet Lv. Evolution Item evolution
Level 40 1st Evolution Regular Pet Training Guide
Level 76 2nd Evolution Advanced Pet Training Guide
  • Once you have reached the required levels, you will see the "Evolution" button, which allows you to evolve a Pet to its next stage of evolution.
    • Evolution requires  Regular Pet Training Guide or  Advanced Pet Training Guide in the inventory.
    • Before reaching levels 40 and 76, the "Evolution" button is not available.
