Introduction

Welcome to the world of Lineage II Essence! Before reading this guide, I strongly recommend reading I'm new to L2 Essence. Once you've decided on your race and class, it's time to start farm your character. In this article we'll try to talk briefly about the start of your journey into the world of zGaming.
It's worth pointing out that this is a universal guide for all the races and classes available in the game.

Getting ready to start

zGaming is distributing a Start Pack with consumables, XP boosts, coupons for exchanging weapons and sets and much more. Click on New Free Packs at the top of the page and request a pack. Our pack guarantees you greater comfort and ease on your journey to farm.

In Lineage II Essence we have several itens that help you progress through the levels faster. Such as:

  1. Character equipment: Cloak of Protection, Einhasad's Pendant, Moonstone Jewel, Talisman of Aden, Agathion Joy. These itens should be your priority as you obtain L-Coins. All these itens are offered in our Start Pack.
  2. Itens and Scrolls: XP Growth Scroll, Sayha's Gust, Sayha's Storm, Giran Seal, Einhasad's Blessing Scroll, Dandy's Home Run Ball, Transformation Scrolls, buffs and itens obtained during events;
  3. Itens special: Growth Rune. This item can be bought in the L-Coin Store > Adena Store. The Growth Rune Lv. 1 can be improved by compounding with Growth Rune Fragments. This rune increases your experience percentage and defense status at high levels;
  4. Clan Skills: Clan's Exuberance and Clan's Fortune

Start of journey: Level 1-76

Your journey begins in the starting city of your race. Start the tutorial from the notification that appears on the right-hand side of your screen. It's quite simple: accept the quest, click OK to move to the location indicated, kill the monsters nearby, return to the NPC to finish the quest, accept the next quest and repeat the process until you are taken to the next step. If the dialog doesn't appear automatically, click on the notification or click once on the NPC in front of you to talk to him. The new versions of Lineage II Essence have greatly simplified the progression of the initial levels, and even killing monsters (or what are popularly known as mobs) doesn't require much effort thanks to the convenience of the automatic hunting system.

Reaching Level 20

Once you reach Level 20, you are ready to take on your first profession. In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, click on the medal icon to choose your profession. Select the profession you want and confirm. Continue the tutorial by starting the Ruins of Agony quest. The tutorial will then take you to the Abandoned Camp, Gorgon Flower Garden and Death Pass zones. You don't need to do anything other than hunt down the mobs requested for the quest. Upon completion, you receive a standard amount of XP that allows you to continue to the next step.

Reaching Level 40

When you reach Level 40, you are eligible for your second profession. Look for the medal icon again and select your second profession. Note that as you learn your new skills, some of them are replaced. Continue the tutorial in the dialog, you will now be moved to Sea of Spores.

When you finish the Sea of Spores quest, you will be taken to Cemetery. In this hunting zone, you may come across some challenges such as angry skeletons chasing you. They like to attack in packs, so be careful when walking around this area; try not to disturb them too much.

When you finish all 4 parts of the Cemetery quest, you will be teleported to NPC Orven, but you may not have enough Level to proceed to the next quest. Move back to Cemetery and continue hunting mobs until you reach Level 52.

The next hunting zone in the tutorial is Fields of Massacre. The mobs in this zone are stronger, some cast a strong poison that can be lethal, so be careful! Don't feel down if you have trouble killing the mobs in this area, you can return to Cemetery and continue there until Level 56-58. Returning to the previous zone is a smart strategy, as it allows you to improve your skills before moving on to the next step. Repeat this strategy in the future if you feel the need.

After completing the 4 parts of the Fields of Massacre quest and reaching Level 58, you will start the Plains of Glory quest. If your class has AoE (area attack) skills, this is the ideal zone to start your solo or group farm AoE. Alternatively, you can teleport to Aden - Forsaken Plains, where you'll find the same mobs, but it's not suitable for farm AoE.

Reaching Level 60

From Level 60, you can complete the missions Assault on Orc Fortress and Difficult Assault on Orc Fortress by taking part in the Orc Fortress, which takes place daily at 19:00 (server time). Complete these quests daily to get XP Lamps and Ancient Adena.

After completing the 4 parts of the Plains of Glory quest and reaching Level 64, it's time to start the next quest in War-Torn Plains, which consists of 5 parts. This zone is also suitable for farm AoE, and there are several different spots to explore. farm AoE is not suitable in spots with zombies and skulls with bows, as they attack from a distance. Alternatively, you can complete this quest in Aden > Outlaw Forest, where you'll find the same mobs as in War-Torn Plains.

Reaching Level 70

When you reach Level 70, access to a new instance will be released just in time for your "Acquiring Transcendent Power" quest. Click on the Special Zones icon and enter the Transcendent Instance Zone.

The Aztacan's Temple special zone will also be available (Special Zones > World zone > Aztacan's Temple). This is one of the best zones for quickly progressing your XP at this stage of the game.

When you finish the War-Torn Plains quest and reach Level 70, you can start the Silent Valley quest, which consists of 5 parts. This is a more hostile hunting zone than the previous ones, as the mobs have more defense, HP and cast a strong poison, and it's not very suitable for farm AoE. You may feel the need to return to War-Torn Plains again to improve your skills and equipment.

From Level 70, the Alligator Island special zone will be available. It's a zone with great XP and Adena drops, but be very careful when walking alone in the waters, other monsters appear from there.

Reaching Level 76

Once you reach Level 76, you are ready to obtain the third and final profession. To get it, you must follow NPC Orven's instructions in the Saga of Legend quest and kill 100 mobs in Silent Valley.

After completing the Saga of Legend, move to the NPC Orven and give him the quest. You can now change class by clicking on the medal icon.

Next, you'll receive a quest that invites you to explore an exclusive zGaming instance: Aden Kingdom Defense. In this instance you will get large amounts of XP and some mysterious rewards inside chests. It is important that you kill the final boss to complete your quest. I strongly recommend doing this instance daily.

Next steps: Level 76-85

By now you should be more familiar with the game's progress. We've moved on a bit, but there's a lot to get to know! You'll notice that the hunting grounds from Level 76 onwards will be full of other players. You should therefore walk around and explore the area in search of a less crowded place.

You should continue following the tutorial quests that will guide you to the next zones.
These are some of the next quests after Level 76:

  1. Level 76 - Plains of the Lizardmen
  2. Level 78 - Dragon Valley (west)
  3. Level 78 - Cruma Tower 3rd Floor
  4. Level 81 - Dragon Valley (east)
  5. Level 81 - Cruma Tower 2nd Floor
  6. Level 84 - Sel Mahum Base
